Joglo Ayu Tenan is a creative makerspace and cultural destination in Yogyakarta, where craftsmanship, heritage, and community come together. Since 2011, we have curated handcrafted jewelry, fashion, and home décor created by Indonesian artisans, while empowering women, artisan communities, and people with disabilities through sustainable craftsmanship. Visitors can explore our collection of locally made products, participate in hands-on workshops, and experience the warmth of a traditional Javanese joglo. From jewelry making and batik-inspired activities to creative community events, every experience at Joglo Ayu Tenan offers an authentic glimpse into Yogyakarta’s rich artistic heritage.
